JUDGMENT
(The Judgment of the Court was delivered by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J) This Writ Appeal has been filed by the Department challenging the direction issued by the Writ Court in WP.No.27887 of 2010 dated 26.07.2019.
2. According to the appellants, the respondents herein filed Writ Petition before this Court in WP.No.27887 of 2010, challenging the proceedings of the Principal Secretary and Commissioner of Land Administration, Chepauk Chennai, dated 01.10.2020 and cause correction Page No.2 / 5
insofar as survey No.31/2 at Ulaganeri Village, North Taluk, Madurai District and issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the above property.
3. The above Writ Petition was disposed of with a direction to challenge the proceedings issued by the Assistant Settlement Officer dated 13.12.1955. Subsequently, the respondents 1 and 2 herein filed another Writ Petition in WP.No.18896 of 2013 challenging the order passed by the Assistant Settlement Officer dated 13.12.1955 before this Court. Upon hearing the parties concerned, a detailed order has been passed dismissing the Writ Petition. According to the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the appellants, as no appeal has been preferred, the said order has become final.
4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
5. It is to be seen that as per the direction issued in the impugned order, the respondents herein already filed Writ Petition WP.No.18592 of Page No.3 / 5
