ORDER

This petition is filed to condone the delay of 139 days in filing the above Revision.

2.The Revision has been filed challenging the Judgment of conviction in STC.No.175 of 2025 and consequently, imposing a fine of Rs.500 on the petitioner.

3.Admittedly, the petitioner had pleaded guilty to the charges and hence, was convicted and sentenced to pay fine.

4.It the case of the petitioner now that in a police verification report, the conviction was referred and his company officials had asked him about the case; and that he without being aware of the consequences had pleaded guilty on the compulsion of the Police; and hence, there has been a delay of 139 days in filing the revisoin challenging the Judgment.

5.If the petitioner had pleaded guilty on the compulsion of the Police, there was no reason why he had to wait for six months to prefer the above Revision. This Court cannot entertain this Revision at this belated stage merely

because the conviction is likely to affect his career. The allegation against the Police appears to be an afterthought. The delay of 139 days has also not been properly explained.

6.Therefore, this Court is not inlined to condone the delay of 139 days in preferring the above Revision and accordingly, the Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
