Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the third respondent in Letter No.EE/OPM/KPadi/TD1/LSFS/G.O.03, dated 29.06.2012, quash the same and direct the 3rd, 4th and 5th respondents to give new estimation pertaining to the request made by the petitioner dated 24.07.2012 to give electricity connection to the petitioner's agricultural land in Survey No.526/2A1B situated at S.Pudukuppam, Vasanangkuppam Post, Panrutti Taluk, Cuddalore District from Vasanangkuppam SS No.VI point instead of Mandanagopalapuram S.S.No.XI.

ORDER

Heard Mr.K.P.Chandrasekaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Varunkumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-Board.

2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging an estimation done by the third respondent.

3.Mr.M.Varunkumar, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Board submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, the Chief Engineer/Distribution, Tamil Nadu Generation & Distribution Corporation Ltd. (TANGEDCO), Villupuram Region, has revised the estimation and passed an order on 08.05.2013, which order has been accepted by the petitioner, amount has been paid and service connection has been effected. 4.Hence, no further orders are required in this matter and the writ petition is disposed of by recording the submission made on behalf of TANGEDCO. No costs.
