ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as a secondary grade teacher as per the order of the 3rd respondent in TRB REF:5015/A4/2008 DT8/10/09 dated 08.10.2009 and to consider the petitioner as a secondary grade teacher from the month of December, 2009.
2. Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. There is no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, this Court is inclined to pass orders on merits in this writ petition.
3. The petitioner is a physically challenged person and after completion of his Secondary Grade Teacher training, he registered his name in the first respondent office. Thereafter, he had married one Uma Maheswari in the year 2002, who originally belongs to Scheduled Caste. Therefore, the petitioner has been brought under the priority list by the
first respondent. However, the petitioner was not called for certificate verification under the category of intercaste marriage priority.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that though the petitioner had married a Scheduled Caste woman, he failed to register that he belongs to intercaste marriage priority. Therefore, the petitioner was not called for certificate verification.
5. In view of the above, the request made by the petitioner cannot be considered. Thus, the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
