Respondents Prayer:- This Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 20.02.2015 in Memo No.C3.D.No.21/2015 against the petitioner husband Prakasam, Male, aged 43 years, S/o.Kannan @ Kannappan, who is confined at Central Prison, Vellore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty. [Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN, J.] Petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the second respondent dated 20.02.2015 against her husband, branding him as a "Bootlegger".
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, would submit that the detention order passed against the husband of the petitioner dated 20.02.2015 in Memo No.C3.D.No.21/2015 on the file of the second respondent is revoked on the opinion expressed by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Advisory Board by the Government of India in G.O.Rt.No.2518, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 13.04.2015 and produced a copy of the said order.
3. In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
