Petitioners seek quash of proceedings in Crime No.5 of 2016 on the file of first respondent.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioners, learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] and learned counsel for second respondent.

3. The case in Crime No.5 of 2016 on the file of first respondent has been registered for offences u/s.498-A, 406 and 506(i) IPC. The matter stems out of a family dispute. Presently, petitioners as also the de facto complainant are present. An affidavit has been filed by de facto complainant informing that dispute between parties stands settled and it is prayed that the quash petition may be allowed. Learned counsel on either side confirm such position.
