Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents to 1 to 6 to remove the encroachment made by 7th to 10th respondents in and over the Pandiankuppam (Mathura) Nagakuppam Village Situated in Survey No.80/1, 79/2 and 111/1 with an extent of 99 Ares, 2.07 Ares and 1.17 Ares respectively at Chinna Salem Taluk, Kallakurichi District in view of the Communication dated 09.07.2025 in Na.Ka.No.A1/1396/2025 issued by the 5th respondent and representation made by the Petitioner on 12.09.2025 and thereby restore the above said property as originally stood in the revenue records.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents to 1 to 6 to remove the encroachment made by respondents 7 to 10 in and over Pandiankuppam (Mathura) Nagakuppam Village in survey No.80/1, 79/2 and 111/1 with an extent of 99 Ares, 2.07 Ares and 1.17 Ares respectively at Chinna Salem Taluk, Kallakurichi District.
2. Pursuant to the survey conducted by the Tahsildar, 22 encroachments have been found and accordingly, notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 has been issued on 23.03.2026, to the encroachers, giving them time to submit their objections.
3. Learned State Counsel submits that after considering the reply, appropriate action would be taken to remove the encroachments from the aforesaid lands.
4. In view of the status report, as well as the submission made by the learned State Counsel, we direct respondents 1 to 6 to continue the enforcement action in accordance with law and complete the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within three moths from today.
5. The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There will be no order as to costs.
