Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order passed by the First Respondent in Na. Ka. No. 22868/Aaa 1/2010 dated 03.10.2020 and quash the same, and direct the Respondents to confer all consequential benefits including promotion on the Petitioner.

(through video conference) Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the relief sought in this Writ Petition has become infructuous and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is made clear that since no view has been expressed by this Court on the merits of the challenge to the impugned Order in Na. Ka. No. 22868/ Aaa1/2010 dated 03.10.2010 passed by the First Respondent, the said question is left open to be decided in an appropriate case, if it arises. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
