ORDER

This Crl.O.P. is filed to direct the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengleput, to conduct and conclude the trial in Spl.Case No.6 of 2015 expeditiously within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Though in the petition, the petitioner has narrated the entire facts of the case, considering the limited scope of the prayer made in the Crl.O.P., I am of the opinion that it is not necessary for this Court to deal with those averments. The only grievance of the petitioner (de-facto complainant) in this petition is that the quash-petitions filed by the accused in Crl.O.P.Nos.13356 to 13359 of 2015 and 18416 of 2015 were already dismissed by this Court on 18.12.2015. accused persons include the concerned Tahsildar, Assessor and the Village Administrative Officer and totally, there are eight accused persons in the case. The accused persons have unnecessarily delayed the conduct of the trial by the trial Court and hence, the petitioner has come forward with this Crl.O.P. for the above relief.

3. Considering the submissions made on both sides, this Court deems it fit to direct the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengleput to expedite the trial in the case. Accordingly, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengleput is directed to complete the trial in Spl.Case No.6 of 2015 and dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible. The prosecution and the defence are directed to co-operate for the early completion of the trial and disposal of the case by the trial Court. With this direction, this Crl.O.P. is disposed of.
