..Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of order in Na.Ka.No.4535/2021/M.C.8 dated 07.02.2022 on the file of 2nd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner to campaign on coming days against the ill-effects of getting cash for votes in and around Coimbatore city.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The writ petition has been filed against the order dated 07.02.2022, whereby the representation of the petitioner to allow him to campaign against the ill-effects of getting cash for votes, was denied.

Referring to the order dated 11.02.2022, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that now some relaxation has been given for holding election meetings, cycle-rally, etc. Thus, the representation made by the petitioner should be re-considered by the second respondent to grant him permission to organise campaign against the ill-effects of getting cash for votes. 3.Looking to the order dated 11.02.2022, the respondents have agreed to consider the representation made by the petitioner afresh and, accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to reconsider the representation made by the petitioner within two days and for that the impugned order dated 07.02.2022 would not come in the way.
