(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.G.Sankaran, learned senior counsel for the petitioner, Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned State Government Pleader for respondent Nos.1 and 2 and Mr.R.Muniappa Raj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, for respondent Nos.3 and 4.
2. The learned senior counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor so also the learned State Government Pleader do not dispute that the issue involved in the present writ petition is covered under the judgment and order dated 05.01.2024
delivered by this Court in W.P.No.24516 of 2011 with connected writ petitions.
In light of that and for the reasons recorded in the judgment dated 05.01.2024 in W.P.No.24516 of 2011 and other connected writ petitions, the present writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
