ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 18.07.2023 in EPFA No.43 of 2020 passed by the Presiding Officer, Central Government Industrial Tribunal cum Labour Court, Chennai.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he was ready to pay the amount of Rs.47,38,292/- claimed by the respondent in eight equated monthly installments.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent opposes the said submission.

4. Considering the fact that the company is closed, I am of the view that the petitioner's submission can be accepted. The petitioner is directed to pay the claim amount of Rs.47,38,292/- in eight equal monthly installments payable on or before 10th of every calendar month. It

is made clear that in case of default in payment of even a single installment, the respondent shall be at liberty to take recovery proceedings in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
