O R D E R
The relief sought for in this writ petition is to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2018 in respect of grant of study leave, sanction of salary and other service benefits to the petitioner from August 2012 to April 2015 on par with benefits granted to MS, MD and other P.G. students, who had undergone P.G. Course in Private Colleges vide G.O.(Ms) 63/2017 dated 07.03.2017.
2.The writ petitioner is now working as Assistant Professor/Tutor and his grievance is that his study leave, sanction of salary and other service benefits granted as per G.O.Ms.No.63 of 2017 dated 07.03.2017 to other candidates, are not granted to him.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner states that the respondent is discriminating the case of the writ petitioner in spite of the facts, the benefits of study leave, sanction of salary and other service benefits are granted in other set of candidates in G.O.Ms.No.63 of 2017 dated 07.03.2017.
4.However, the writ petitioner has submitted a representation in this regard to consider this case, in the light of the said Government Order and the same is yet to be disposed of.
5.Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 26.02.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.The writ petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the representation and the Government Orders along with the order passed by this court in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
