This Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Respondents to appoint the Petitioner to the post of Makkal Nala Paniyalar in view of G.O. Ms. No. 90, Urban Development Department dated 20.05.1999 issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

It is represented by Learned Counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has died after the filing of the Writ Petition and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record.
