O R D E R

The Writ Petition challenges the proceedings in Na. Ka. No. 2250/2008/ TP2 dated 21.05.2010 issued by the Second Respondent and consequently direct the Respondents to promote the Petitioner as Executive Officer Grade II with effect from August 2006 on par with his juniors with all consequential and attendant benefits.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, states that after the filing of the Writ Petition, the Petitioner has been promoted as Executive Officer Grade II on 21.09.2011 and has filed a memo dated 13.12.2021 to that effect, which has been placed on record. In view of the same, no further orders are required in this Writ Petition. However, it is made clear that if the Petitioner still has any grievance to be redressed in the matter, he is not precluded from working out his rights before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. No costs.
