Heard Mr. R.Naresh Kumar, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mrs. K.Ashwini Devi, Learned Counsel for the Second and Third Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed challenging the Proceedings in HDC. No. C2/3961/2011 dated 13.01.2012 passed by the Second Respondent selecting the Third Respondent to the post of Sanitary Inspector and to consequently direct the Respondents to appoint the Petitioner as Sanitary Inspector.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, states that after the filing of the Writ Petition, the Petitioner has been promoted as Sanitary Inspector and in view of the same, nothing remains for further consideration in the Writ Petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the court record.
