This Criminal Appeal has been filed seeking to set aside the judgment passed by the learned XI Additional Special Judge for CBI Cases, Chennai in C.C.No.19 of 2009 dated 07.04.2015.

2. Learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the appellant passed away on 29.09.2020. He further submitted that he was instructed by the legal heirs of the deceased appellant that they are not interested in pursuing the appeal and prayed that the appeal may be closed.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant has passed away, this Criminal Appeal stands dismissed as abated.
