Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the second respondent in connection with the impugned reauction notice issued in No.482/DC(E)/Tha(Pe)/2014-15 dated 21.01.2015 and quash the same insofar as the Shop No.1A allotted to the petitioner is concerned and further direct the respondent to grant 2/3rd remission to the petitioner in the matter of kist in respect of arrack shop No.1-A of Ariyankuppam Commune Panchayat for the period from 01.08.2014 to 30.06.2015.

O R D E R

The re-auction notification dated 21.01.2015 is sought to be quashed in the present Writ Petition. The interim order initially granted was also lapsed, in view of the fact that it is not extended. On account of efflux of time, the progress if any during the pendency of the Writ Petition, is not made before this Court. However, the order impugned is a re-auction notification issued on 21.01.2015 and therefore, this Court cannot interfere with the said re-auction notice after this length of time. If any grievance exist for the petitioner, it is left open to him to approach the competent authority.

2. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
