the 4th respondent pertaining to the Tentative list of Candidates provisionally selected for appointment to the post of Special Teachers for the years 2007 to 10 dated 22.10.2010 and quash the same in so far as it pertains to the list of candidates provisionally selected for appointment to the post of Physical Education Trainers in the Government and Corporation Schools and consequently to direct the 4th respondent to re-draw the selection list for filling up the vacancies notified by the 1st Respondent in G.O.Ms.No.84 dated 25.03.2009 in the posts of physical Education Teachers for the years 2007 to 2010 by strictly following the 200 point roaster method of selection laid down in G.O.Ms.No.65 dated 27.05.2009.

The Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the 4th respondent pertaining to the Tentative list of Candidates provisionally selected for appointment to the post of Special Teachers for the years 2007 to 10 dated 22.10.2010 and quash the same in so far as it pertains to the list of candidates provisionally selected for appointment to the post of Physical
Education Trainers in the Government and Corporation Schools and consequently to direct the 4th respondent to re-draw the selection list for filling up the vacancies notified by the 1st Respondent in G.O.Ms.No.84 dated 25.03.2009 in the posts of physical Education Teachers for the years 2007 to 2010 by strictly following the 200 point roaster method of selection laid down in G.O.Ms.No.65 dated 27.05.2009.
2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that nothing survives in this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
3. In the light of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that nothing survives in this petition and endorsement was also made to that effect, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuos. No costs.
