PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent herein to consider, dispose of and pass orders on merits on the representation of the petitioner dated 24.02.2023 to include his name in the list of contract labourers and to absorb him as permanent employee in the respondents Board.

Mr.Aaroon AL Rasheed for M/s.AGAM Legal for TANGEDCO C O M M O N O R D E R These Writ Petitions have been filed to direct the second respondent herein to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 02.12.2022, 03.12.2022, 19.09.2022 and 24.02.2023 to include their name in the list of contract labourers and absorb them as permanent employee in the respondents Board.
2. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners have made representations on 02.12.2022, 03.12.2022, 19.09.2022 and 24.02.2023
before the second respondent to include their name in the list of contract labourers and absorb them as permanent employee in the respondents Board, however, the same have not been considered so far. Therefore, the petitioners have filed the present writ petitions with the aforesaid prayer.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that it would suffice, if the second respondent is directed to dispose of the representations of the petitioners, dated 02.12.2022, 03.12.2022, 19.09.2022 and 24.02.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representations of the
petitioners, dated 02.12.2022, 03.12.2022, 19.09.2022 and 24.02.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
