ORDER
The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 30.12.2015 to issue patta to him, within the specified time.
2. Mr. Era Premnath, Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.
3. The Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given the application as early as on 30.12.2015, the 1st respondent has not issued patta to her till this date.
4. Mr. Era Premnath, Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the first respondent may be directed to pass orders in the petitioner's application, within a time frame, in accordance with Law.
5. Though the petitioner has given the application as early as on 30.12.2015, the 1st respondent Tahsildhar is keeping the application pending for nearly 1 1⁄2 years without passing any orders. In these circumstances, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 30.12.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
