ORDER

The above writ petition has been filed calling for the production of the records relating to the order of the I Additional Labour Court, Chennai, dated 27.09.2021 made in C.P.No.20 of 2019, quash the same and allow the C.P.No.20 of 2019 on the file of the I Additional Labour Court, Chennai.

The petitioner was admittedly designated in the cadre of the Manager. Therefore, the provisions of the Industrial Disputes Act would not be applicable to the petitioner. The petitioner had moved a claim petition invoking the Section 33-C of the Industrial Disputes Act.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent would also fairly concede to the above statement.

In the light of the above, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
