This Writ petition is filed for a Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to shift the agricultural Electricity service connection No.202 situated in 494/3A1 to 494/4 where well is situated in Chatirath Thottam, Athani, Anthiyur Taluk on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2019. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Mr.Vijayamehanath, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents produced a copy of the order dated 12.10.2020 passed by the 2nd respondent on the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2019 stating that the request of the petitioner for shifting the electricity service connection will be considered, provided PWD Department issues no objection certificate, since the well is situated within the prohibited area i.e., within 200 meter radius of Bhavani river bed.

3. By recording the above said letter of the 2nd respondent dated 12.10.2020, this Writ Petition is dismissed as the relief sought for by the petitioner to consider his representation has been considered and disposed of by the respondents. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the said order of the respondent dated 12.10.2020, if he is so advised. No costs.
