ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeks a Mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 to permit the petitioner to pay the balance loan amount and close the housing loan availed by the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel for respondents 1 and 2 pointed out that the securitization application filed by the petitioner was allowed by the Debts Recovery Tribunal and the respondent bank had preferred an appeal before Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, which was dismissed on 27.05.2026.

3. Now, the remedy available to the petitioner is to approach the bank and settle the outstanding dues.

4. The prayer made in this writ petition cannot be granted at this stage. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the bank, seeking redressal of this grievance.

5. With this liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
