This writ petition was filed in the year 2013 seeking a mandamus forbearing the respondents from disturbing, removing shops in the petitioner's property located in survey No.109/68 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in Sithalampattu Village, Villupuram District or interfering with their trading operations by acquiring the land in the light of order passed in W.P.No.9237 of 1998 indicating the respondents to follow the procedures as contemplated under the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Harijan Welfare Schemes Act, 1978.

2. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing on 22.10.2019, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, the Registry was directed to list the writ petition under the caption "for dismissal". Even today, when the matter was called, there is no representation for the petitioner, except the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
