This Petition has been filed under Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, seeking Succession Certificate relating to the securities, namely, mutual funds and equity shares left behind by T.R.Srinivasan, who died on 13.10.2020.

2. The first petitioner is his wife and the second petitioner is the son. Publication was effected. The second petitioner examined himself as PW-1. The death certificate of T.R.Srinivasan was marked as Ex.P-1, the legal heirship certificate was marked as Ex.P-2. The documents relating to the securities were marked as Exs. P-3 to P-6. The consent affidavit of the first petitioner was marked as Ex.P-1.

3. In view of the evidence recorded, this Petition stands allowed as prayed for and a direction for grant of Succession Certificate to the second petitioner with power to collect the securities and to receive the interest and dividends on and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the schedule A & B is issued. The second petitioner is directed to render accounts once in a year.
