O R D E R

This writ petition is filed by the Management as against the order of the Labour Court. It appears that, during the pendency of the writ petition, C.P.No.33 of 2010 was filed by the employee before the Additional Labour Court, Chennai. By virtue of the settlement under Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, the entire claim of the employee is settled. By a Joint Memo stated to have been filed by the writ petitioner along with the employee dated 03.02.2011, it was reported before the Labour Court that the employee has taken the monetary compensation from the writ petitioner/Management. On the basis of the Joint Memo, the claim petition also was disposed of as settled.

2.Therefore, recording the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner that the matter is settled between the parties, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of the settlement stated to have been arrived at under Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, as reported before the Labour Court in the Joint Memo of Settlement, dated 03.02.2011.
