This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C praying to call for the records and to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.17 of 2021 pending investigation on the file of the 1st respondent. For Petitioners :

ORDER

Today, when this criminal original petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 1st respondent police submitted that after the completion of investigation in Crime No.17 of 2021, the 1st respondent police filed the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Vellore on 27.04.2023, but, the said final report is not yet been taken on file.

2. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 1st respondent police, this criminal original petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to challenge the final report filed by the 1st respondent police. The learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Vellore is directed to take the final report filed by the 1st respondent police on file immediately, if it is otherwise in order.
