1. The petitioner is the father of the detenu, namely, Chamber Raja @ S.Raja, S/o.Santhanasamy, male, aged about 33 years. The detenu stands detained by the second respondent by virtue of his order bearing C3.D.O.No.66/2017, dated 11.07.2017, wherein, he has been held to be a "Goonda", within the meaning of Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
1.1. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the said order of detention, passed by the second respondent against the son of the petitioner has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.4367, Home, Prohibition & Excise (IX) Department dated 11.09.2017; a copy of the order has also been produced.
