Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records relating to the detention order passed in B3/D.O.No.03/2021 dated 07.01.2021 passed by the 2nd respondent under the and set aside Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu Manikandan @ Yamaha Manikandan, son of Palaninathan, aged about 26 years, now confined in Central Prison, Vellore, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in B3/D.O.No.03/2021 dated 07.01.2021, detaining his son as "Goonda" under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.1013, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 27.02.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
