The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 25.03.2017 and 04.01.2018 sent by the President Arulmigu Meenatchi Chockanathar Cum Dhandayuthapani Thirukoil Thirumuruga Peravai Bhakthajana Sabha A Public Trust Register.No.21-BK-IV-2017 having office at Door Nos.58-102, Madhiyan Kuttai Mettur Dam-636452 for the allotment of renovation work of Murugar Sannidhi and any other renovation works of Arulmigu Meenatchi Chockanathar Cum Dhandayuthapani Thirukoil, Mettur Dam as exhibited in the notice board of the Temple Complex.

2. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the petitioner made the representations dated 25.03.2017 and 04.01.2018, seeking for allotment to renovate the Murugar Sannidhi and any other renovation works of Arulmigu Meenatchi Chockanathar Cum Dhandayuthapani Thirukoil, Mettur Dam and the same has not been considered by the respondents so far.

3. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is

disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 25.03.2017 and 04.01.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
