This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned notice issued by the 1st respondent in proceedings in Na.Ka.No.-Nil- /Nir.Se.Nadu.Ka.Thu.Aa/Myila.ma/201, dated 08.04.2016.

2.Heard Mr.D.Arun, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that the first respondent had initiated proceedings under Section 110 of Cr.P.C. on 08.04.2016. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

4.In view of the above, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
