The Petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to issue ration card by considering the petitioner's application dated 17.11.2016.

2. Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents submitted that the third respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass orders in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 17.11.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With these observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
