This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.2770 of 2012 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in respect of Crime No.2770 of 2012 on the file of the first respondent, charge sheet has been filed and the same is pending in CC.No.234 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur and hence the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

In view of the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
