Heard Mr. T.V.Badrinarayanan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. T.Chandrasekar, Learned Counsel, who takes notice for the Second and Fourth Respondents and Mr. V.Ravi, Learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the First and Third Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the First and Second Respondents to take necessary action to prevent the Fourth Respondent or other persons from undertaking dredging or any other work affecting the existing irrigation channel in Survey Nos. 271/1, 271/2, 271/3 of Sirumoor Village, Arni Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District running from West to East with mount connecting late on Eastern side, without the permission and supervision of the 2/5

First and Second Respondents.

When it was pointed out that the Petitioner had not made any direct representation to the Respondents before the filing of this Writ Petition, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition reserving the rights of the Petitioner to make a proper representation and depending upon its outcome, to work out his remedies before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid clarification. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
