ORDER
This Criminal Revision Case filed by the accused, who was found guilty for the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 by issuing a cheque for Rs.5,00,000/- to the complainant/respondent without sufficient fund. The trial Court as well as the first appellate Court have found the petitioner guilty.
2. Being aggrieved, this revision case is filed and pending this revision, it appears that, the parties have entered into the compromise and want to compound the offence. To that effect, a compromise memo has been filed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner by signing both the parties as well as the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondent.
3. In view of the above said compromise memo, this Court directs the parties to appear before the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Erode and file a compromise memo in S.T.C.No.199 of 2016. On such compromise memo, the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Erode, shall record the compromise and 2/4
compound the offence, as per the terms of the compromise.
4. With the above directions, this criminal Revision Case is disposed of. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
