O R D E R

Mr.Abdul Kalam, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondents and is in possession of complete instructions to proceed with the matter finally. Hence, by consent expressed by both learned counsel this Writ Petition is disposed finally even at the stage of admission. 2.The petitioner prays for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider and dispose his representation made as early as on 20.04.2021 seeking compensation for the death of her husband which she claims was on account of electrocution on 04.11.2016.

3.Since adjudication of various facts would be necessary to consider the request of the petitioner, it would be appropriate that the respondents to consider the same.

4.Prima facie, the Writ Petition as well as the representation are hit by laches, insofar as the unfortunate event is stated to have been taken place on 04.11.2016. However, since FIR has been registered with the Police Station at Perambalur bearing No.569 of 2016 on 04.11.2016, this Writ Petition is entertained and the following order is passed. 5.A direction is issued to R4, Superintending Engineer, TANGEDCO, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.04.2021, hear the petitioner and pass a speaking order within a period of sixteen (16) weeks from today.
