O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to permit the petitioner to participate in the Counselling for General Transfer from Katpadi Block, Vellore District to Sholinghur Block, Ranipet District, in the light of the directions issued by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.25154/ A1/E1/2022, dated 22.01.2022, and also on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2022.
2.This Court, earlier, in a similar writ petition in W.P.No.4989 of 2022 [G.K.Perumal v. The State of Tamil Nadu represented by its Secretary, Department of School Education and others], has passed the following order on 07.03.2022.
"2.The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Third Respondent to permit the Petitioner to participate in the counselling for general transfer from Katpadi Block, Vellore District to Sholinghur Block, Ranipet District in the light of the directions issued by the Second Respondent in Proceedings Na. Ka.
No. 25154/A1/E1/2022 dated 22.01.2022 and also on the basis of the representation dated 23.02.2022 made by him in that regard.
3.The Sixth Respondent has filed a memo dated 07.03.2022 in respect of the claim made by the Petitioner stating as follows:- "2. It is submitted that the counseling for transfer of Middle School Masters were conducted on 27.01.2022. Three posts were filled by promotion. Two posts were filled by transfer. The Petitioner do not come under the category of promotion. In so far as transfer within the block is concerned, the Petitioner has not applied. The two posts were filled by transfer, by strictly following the seniority within the block. A Middle School Head Master is not entitled for District to District Transfer."
In such circumstances, nothing remains for further consideration in the matter.
4.In fine, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs." 3.In view of the above, nothing survives in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed.
