Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to stay the operation and all further proceeding of Show Cause Notice No. 80/2017 dated 11.08.2017 issued by the first respondent (in WMP.No.8629/18) pending disposal of the above writ petition 6976/18.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.JOSEPH PRABAKAR Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.V.SUNDARESWARAN Senior Panel Counsel on behalf of the respondents the court made the following order:- I have elaborately heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

I am of the prima facie view that writ petition is not maintainable as against a show cause notice.

Learned counsel for the petitioner requests time and prays for adjournment after summer vacation.

Pendency of the writ petition will not be a bar for the authorities to proceed in pursuance of the impugned notice. Hence, stay petition stands dismissed.
