ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to reinstate the petitioner and regularize his service in Salem City Municipal Corporation and to absorb him in regular establishment with effect from date of his initial appointment with all benefits in the light of G.O.Ms.No.125, M.A. & W.S. Department, dated 27.5.1999.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. Pending Writ Petition, the petitioner died long back. However, the legal heirs did not take any steps to substitute themselves in the place of the petitioner. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as abated.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. There shall be no order as to costs. 04.09.2023.
