ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.373 of 2015 pending on his file within the stipulated period fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that as against one Devaraj and others, she has lodged a complaint and the same was registered as FIR in Crime No.373 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294 (b), 323, 506(i), 427 and 379 IPC. Though the complaint was registered on 21.07.2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, this petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.373 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
