O R D E R

The prayer made in the Writ Petition is to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent authorities to provide police protection to the petitioner and his premises bearing Old Door No.54, New No.119, Bharathi Salai, Triplicane, Chennai - 600 005.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 10.03.2017 has not been considered by the respondents 1 and 2.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2 has produced a report of the second respondent police wherein it has been specifically averred that the respondents 3 and 4 had stated that they will not cause any hindrance or damage to the petitioner or his property.

4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. It is always open to the petitioner to seek appropriate civil remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
