ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent and its officials not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that based on the complaint against the petitioner, C.S.R.No.186 of 2020 was issued and subsequently after enquiry, the said complaint was closed on 04.02.2020 and hence, the question of harassment does not arise. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. If the complaint discloses any cognizable offence, the second respondent has to register a case. In case, the said complaint does not disclose any cognizable offence, the second respondent can conduct prelimanary enquiry with the complainant and if the said enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, he can register a case and proceed further in accordance with law. Instead of that he should not unnecessarily harass the petitioner.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
