Heard Mr.T.K.Kulasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Lakshmi Narayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondent. 2.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a mandamus directing the respondent herein to dispose of the representation/ legal notice dated 10.02.2016 given by him with respect to the pending payment of compensation amount in respect of the land and building comprised in S.Nos.4/2B, 5/2B, 7/2B and land value in S.No.6/2B of Ambur Village, Vellore District. 4.Though the petitioner seeks for a larger relief, the petitioner would state that he, being the Managing Trustee of a Charitable Trust, would be satisfied, if he is furnished with proper information, since he has not even been furnished with a copy of the award of compensation, pursuant to the land acquisition proceedings, which were initiated in respect of the lands in question. It is not known as to why no reply has been sent by the respondent, though a petitioner sent a communication on 10.02.2016.
5.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, there will be a direction to the respondent to take note of the submission of the petitioner made through the legal notice dated 10.02.2016 and consider the facts placed therein and send a detailed reply to the petitioner, enclosing the copy of the relevant material, which they would rely upon. Such reply shall be sent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
