Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to furnish inspection report as directed by the 1st respondent to the 2nd and 3rd respondent regarding the construction being put up by the 4th and 5th respondent at Dharal Nazara at No. 9,College Lane, Nungambakkam, Chennai -600 006,within a time period fixed by this Honble Court and to act in accordance with law and demolish the construction if the same is in violation of the approved plans. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Chief Justice) Challenge to the legality of the construction put up by the respondents 4 and 5 cannot be entertained in view of the fact that there is nothing in the petition to show as to how the petitioners have suffered injury to their legally protected and enforceable rights.

2. Therefore, for want of locus this writ petition deserves to be dismissed. We leave it open to the respondents to take such action as may be permissible under law.
