This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to refix and revise the petitioner's scale of pay from 4300+50+198 to 4500+20+207 and pay the arrears of Gratuity as per the revised scale of pay with 18% interest per annum.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that despite several efforts made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to contact the petitioner, he is not able to contact him. He further submitted that petitioner is no more.

3.It is seen that so far no steps had been taken for impleading the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner. Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition, if any, is also closed.
