ORDER

W.M.P.No.6884 of 2026 filed seeking permission for the petitioners to join together and file a single writ petition is ordered on payment of separate court fee.

In this writ petition, the petitioners' apprehension is that the second respondent may register a document with the first respondent pertaining to the property which the petitioners claim that it is their property. The petitioners will have to file a protest petition with the first respondent if they are to be heard whenever any document is presented by the second respondent for registration of property which the petitioners' claim that it is their property.

3. Learned counsel for petitioners, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are willing to submit a protest petition with the first respondent to enable the petitioners to be heard in the event of the second respondent presenting any document with the first respondent pertaining to the property more fully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, which the petitioners claim that it is their property. 2/4

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the petitioners to submit a protest petition with the first respondent within a period of ten (10) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for opposing presentation of any document by the second respondent for registration with the first respondent with regard to the property more fully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, which the petitioners claim that it is their property. On presentation of the protest petition by the petitioners with the first respondent, the first respondent is directed to hear the petitioners, in case, the second respondent presents any document for registration pertaining to the property which is the subject matter of the protest petition. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
