Respondent Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the Wakf application dated 7.4.2016 and 8.2.2018 made by the petitioner seeking to amend clause 3 so as to constitute managing committee for the above Wakf comprising of seven members all from the family of the founder of the Wakf.

Mr.V.Lakshmi Narayanan, the learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the Wakf application dated 7.4.2016 and 8.2.2018 made by the petitioner seeking to amend clause 3 so as to constitute managing committee for the above Wakf comprising of seven members all from the family of the founder of the Wakf.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that as on date the Wakf Board has not considered the

application of the petitioner, but, after constitution of the Wakf Board, the applications of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it is suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondent to dispose of the applications of the petitioner, after constitution of the Wakf Board.

5. In the light of the above submissions made by the learned counsels on either side, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to dispose of the applications of the petitioner dated 7.4.2016 and 8.2.2018, after constitution of the Wakf Board, within a period of twelve weeks there from. No costs.
