ORDER
This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to set aside the dismissal order passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, dated 23.01.2026 in Crl.M.P.No.829 of 2026 and 1/4
relax the condition imposed on the petitioner in Para 5(b) of the order dated 07.01.2026 in Crl.M.P.No.73 of 2026 by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai.
2. The petitioner was granted bail by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.73 of 2026 vide order dated 07.01.2026 with certain conditions and in one of the condition in Para 5(b) that "the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders". Accordingly, they have complied with the condition for 21 days and thereafter, they have come forward with a petition seeking relaxation and the same was dismissed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.829 of 2026 vide order dated 23.01.2026. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking relaxation of the very same condition.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner has appeared before the respondent for the period of 21 days, this Court is of the view that the condition imposed on the petitioner in Para 5(b) in Crl.M.P.No.73 of 2026 dated 07.01.2026 is modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police twice a month i.e., on 1st and 3rd Monday of every month at 10.00 a.m., until further 2/4
orders".
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands modified. 06.02.2026 ssi To:
