PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to pass an order direction to the trial court to complete the trial C.C.No.333 of 2016 in Crime No.810 of 2016, on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur within a stipulated period of time.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the trial court to complete the trial in C.C.No.333 of 2016 in Crime No.810 of 2016, on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur within a stipulated period of time. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is A1 in C.C.No.333 of 2016, pending on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur, for offence under Section 379 IPC. The case is pending from the year 2016, without any progress. He would further submit that speedy and fair trial is a fundamental right of citizens guaranteed under constitutional law, thereby seeking for early disposal of the case.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that there are eight witnesses in this case and that trial has been commenced and the case was posted on 01.03.2022 for examination of LW1 to LW3.

4.In view of the above, direction is issued to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur to complete the trial in C.C.No.333 of 2016 within a period of two months from today. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
